Rev. Henry Bartsch

Acts 18:24-19:7 and Romans 6:1-4

God's Blessing of Family

Rev. Henry Bartsch

Genesis 50:22-26

In Genesis, the blessing of God is mentioned no less than 70 times. It means “well-being,” “to be strengthened.” When God blesses a person he or she is enriched, benefited, strengthened; and the common result is happiness & satisfaction. Jesus, the Death-Conqueror

Rev. Henry Bartsch

John 11:17-44

In this passage, we see Christ’s power and consequent glory in the face of that which none of us can overcome on our own – sin & death. We see so much sin around us that we often think it is the end. But if sin had the final say we would live in a world as Milton fittingly wrote, “Where all life dies, and death lives.” But sin and death does not have the final say for where it abounds, the grace of God much more abounds, and God sent his Son into the world who is life eternal.
