Abraham’s Journey & Ours

Joshua 24:1-3; Genesis 12:1-4; 25:7-10

When God called Abraham to go out to receive the land of promise, he went trusting God. In this life of faith he, “looked forward to the city whose builder and maker is God.” Christians are also called to journey through this life by faith. It is comforting to know that as God led and blessed Abraham, he still leads and blesses Christians.

Abraham was greatly used of God. The enabler behind his abundant life was God. Yes, Abraham is one of the key figures in Scripture, but what made him key was God. The great blessing in our life is God who has the power to do all his will.
