What is Omnibus?
Omnibus explores the thoughts and philosophies from ancient times to the present while teaching students to analyze these thoughts and philosophies in the light of God’s Word.
The word Omnibus means, “all-encompassing," so it is a history course, a literature program, a philosophy survey, and a theology & worldview class.
Some of our goals for the Omnibus program are:
To help students secure a biblical Christ-centered world view.
To teach students to appreciate the unity of all knowledge.
To provide students with the tools needed to face the challenges of an unbelieving world.
To teach students to reason and communicate well both in writing and speaking.
To cultivate and produce students who are culturally literate.
Two classes are offered once a week (Wednesdays):
Omnibus I-Junior (ages 12-14)
Omnibus II-Senior (ages 15-18)
We also offer a combined art elective.
2020 Semester begins Wednesday, September 16.
