Missions at Trinity
The Heart of Missions and Church Planting
At Trinity, our supreme goal and objective is the glory of God. If our triune God is to be glorified, recognized, and worshiped for who he is and what he has done, he must be made known, both locally and abroad. Therefore, we must be engaged in missionary and church planting activities. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Foreign Missions
Trinity Presbyterian actively supports the mission arm of our Presbytery: The Canadian Presbyterian Mission and her missionaries. We also support our synod mission agency: World Witness.
Church Planting
Trinity Presbyterian actively supports church planting (mission churches) in Canada. Our presbytery is currently supporting four mission works. Reformation Presbyterian Church is a church plant in Windsor started by Trinity. We rejoice that in September 2022 they moved from an exploratory work under Trinity to a presbytery mission congregation.
Hope ARP, is a mission in Kingston, ON. Faith ARP is a mission church in Tillsonburg, ON. Trinity Presbyterian Church is a mission church in Woodstock, New Brunswick (yes, same name but different province).
In January 2023 a new exploratory work begin in Stratford, ON. For more information on this new work contact Rev. Tim Collins.
Prayer Support
Any advance of the church on the world stage will inevitably meet the resistance of the evil one. In Matthew 6:10 our Lord taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come." So, the church prays for the preaching and teaching work of the missionaries and church planters. Pray with us as they serve, teach, and preach -- that God would unleash the power of the gospel; and that God would protect them for their physical and spiritual well-being. Would you like us to pray for you? Contact us about specific prayer requests.
